ACN Peace Scholars

The purpose of the ACN Peace Scholars program is to enrich students' knowledge of nonviolence, enhance their leadership skills and provide opportunities for peace-related experiences. These students are equipped to make a difference for peace in our world.

Students in the ACN Peace Scholars Program each receive a $1,000 renewable, merit-based scholarship per year. Scholars may be in any major course of study at Ashland University, but are required to pursue a minor in Ethics or Conflict Resolution (only 5 classes). Scholars receive individualized academic advising and VIP engagements with ACN speakers on a variety of topics related to nonviolence.

We are no longer accepting applications for the 2024-2025 academic year, but if you have questions about our program please contact Elizabeth Buttil at ebuttil@ashland.edu. The Peace Scholars program will begin taking applications again in the spring, so check back then to fill out an application.
