MT Business Technologies (MTBT) prides itself on being an innovative company with an exceptional ability to understand the business need of our clients. MT Business Technologies Inc. began in 1918 as a small typewriter business and grew into a third generation company employing over 300 people. One hundred percent of MTBT’s operational team are living and raising their families in Central and Northern Ohio.

In May 2017, MT Business Technologies was acquired by Global Imaging Systems (GIS) a Xerox Company. Global Imaging Systems (GIS), a leading provider of business technology solutions, is made up of regional core companies in the United States that sell and service document management systems such as printers, copiers and multifunction devices; network integration services; and electronic presentation systems. As an office technology dealer, Global Imaging Systems sells products from various suppliers including Xerox. Xerox acquired Global Imaging Systems in 2007 and operates it as a wholly owned subsidiary within Xerox’s North America Operations.

Local people, local pride – MTBT is now connected to all the resources of an industry leading company and one of the most recognized brand names in the office equipment world, Xerox. MT Business Technologies did not change their name nor their people. MTBT simply wants to leverage their proven success as a new distribution channel for Xerox products. There is no intent to change any of the elements that make MT unique.

In addition to products currently offered, MT Business Technologies can now include Xerox products as the primary source for your document imaging needs. MTBT now has access to an impressive range of products from Xerox. Most people are familiar with Xerox and their reputation for quality. After all, Xerox invented the first photocopier and they have continued to innovate and be a leader in our industry.

The Eagle Community Partners Program at Ashland University is a value-added, employee-benefit opportunity. Eagle Community Partner employees, spouses, and dependents are eligible to receive the Eagle Community Partners Tuition Discount, giving them greater access to our nationally ranked, fully accredited degree programs at the associate, bachelor's, master's and doctoral levels.

Breakdown of benefits per category of student

Online undergraduate students: 10% tuition discount on top of most grants, scholarships, and student loans.

Traditional On-Campus Full-time undergraduate students: $1,000 per year ($500 per semester) on top of any other grants, scholarships, and student loans.

All Graduate students: 10% percent tuition discount on top of any other grants, scholarships, and student loans.

All students participating in our RN-BSN program: 10% tuition discount.
