New Student First Steps:
Setting Up Your Accounts
Your AU account will be the same log in information across all AU websites - AU Gmail, Self-Service, Blackboard, etc.

The IT Tech Support Center is available to help you with all of your technology-related questions and can be reached via telephone at 419.289.5405
Ordering Textbooks
- Navigate to the Bookstore website
- Select Textbooks on the top of the webpage
- Click on “Reserve Textbooks” and then "Continue"
- Select the semester in the drop down menu
- Enter the 3 letter code for the course in the next box (ex. ENG for English, REL for Religion, etc)
- Enter the course number in the final box (ex. 101, 102, etc.)
- Once all of the courses have been entered, click the “View Your Materials” button
- The next page will give you information on how to order textbooks through the Bookstore’s website as well as if the course does not require a textbook
- Note: If the course lists "Inclusive Access" textbooks, that means your books will be digitally added to your course already and you do not have to purchase them seperately!

Contact the Financial Aid Office with any questions regarding financial aid or your financial aid award. Graduate Financial Aid information can be found on this webpage including application links and contact information for specific counselors. Library |
Use the library’s website to access online catalogs, journals, databases, and OhioLINK. Use the Ask a Librarian link to inquire about resources. Need help with research or finding materials for an assingment? Work directly with a librarian online or scheudle a research appointment! |
Online Tutoring |
Use the Online Tutoring website to find a tutor for help beyond your professor and advisor. We are now a proud partner with TutorMe, a 24/7 tutoring service to help our students who cannot utilize our peer-tutoring services. To access & use TutorMe, please watch this short video: |
Student Accessibility Center |
Contact the Student Accessibility Center to coordinate academic or temporary accommodations. |
Writing Center |
Schedule an online appointment with a Writing Assistant to get feedback and help with class papers and projects. |
