Maximum Contribution to Flexible Spending Accounts
The maximum contribution to a Healthcare FSA is $2,750 and $5,000 for the Dependent Care FSA. AU participates in the Healthcare FSA with Carryover, which does include the carryover of $570 from one plan year to the next for employees enrolled in the Healthcare FSA.
Debit Card Available at No Additional Charge
All employees that enroll in Flexible Spending will automatically receive one (1) debit card from Health Equity/Wage Works. Additional debit cards may be requested at wageworks.com. Eligible purchases made using the debit card will be automatically withdrawn from your Flexible Spending Account so you don’t incur out-of-pocket expenses. Flexible Spending debit card purchases for more than pre-set co-pay amounts must be verified by Health Equity/Wage Works to satisfy the IRS. Detailed bills or an Explanation of Benefits (EOB) must be provided upon request by Health Equity/Wage Works for debit card purchases of amounts more than co-pays or your debit card may be cancelled.
Pay My Provider
Would you like to pay your health care provider by check directly from your Flexible Spending Account when you receive a bill? Pay My Provider is a service offered on the Health Equity/Wage Works website that does exactly that. An invoice or appropriate documentation is required to be uploaded at healthequity.com for this option.
Mobile Application and Online Claim Submission
Employees can submit receipts for reimbursement directly on the Health Equity/Wage Works website or via Health Equity's award winning app. You may visit healthequity.com for more details.
