Ashland University's health care provider is Medical Mutual of Ohio. Benecard provides Ashland University's prescription program.

Medical Mutual of Ohio, which is headquartered in Cleveland, OH, has been in business since 1934. They offer an extensive network of healthcare facilities and physicians. Employees enrolled in either of  the University's healhcare plans, PPO and HDHP,  have access to the SuperMed PPO network. Employees outside of Ohio have access to the Aetna Open Choice PPO network.

BeneCard PBF is, and always has been, family and pharmacist owned and operated. They're the only company in the industry that owns all operational areas - from call centers to mail order and specialty pharmacies. Employees enrolled in the PPO healthcare plan have a co-pay for prescriptions. Employees enrolled in the HDHP pay the BeneCard negotiated price for prescriptions until meeting their deductible.
