Help

If you need help with research, information about your library account, interlibrary loan and OhioLINK, or just need to know who to contact with your question, this page provides an overview of available resources.

Reference librarians

Librarians work with students, faculty, and staff to assist in the research process. We are here to help you find articles, learn how to create effective search strategies, use OhioLINK and Interlibrary loan, and more. Librarians can often provide extensive help at the reference desk, but if you want to be sure that there will be enough time to fully explore your research question, we recommend scheduling an appointment.

Why use chat? Ask a Librarian chat provides opportunity to connect with a librarian quickly and efficiently.

Where can I find chat? There's a chat widget on this page! It will automatically slide out for use. Other options are available such as the library home page, the A to Z Database page, and most library guides.

What kind of questions can I ask with chat? Ask a Librarian chat is mainly for quick reference questions, but we will be happy to help with other questions, or direct you to the person who can help. If the librarian feels a question is too complicated, or not suited for chat, they may request to contact you via email or schedule an appointment.
