Tutoring Options

Important notes on drop-in sessions:

  • Designed to accommodate busy, on-the-go enrolled students

  • Sessions are held at convenient locations around campus

  • There is no need to register for a drop-in session

Before seeking the assistance of a tutor, please be aware of the following items:

  • Speak with your professor concerning the specific learning issues.

  • Tutoring is not designed to replace regular class attendance

Once you have made the commitment to meet with a tutor, please do the following:

  • Please be on time. If you're going to be late, inform your tutor one hour before the session. Two absences will result in a cancellation of your sessions.

  • Tutoring does not replace class time. If you miss class, you are expected to meet with the professor to obtain missed material before getting tutored.

  • Try to complete the assignment or task before each session. This will generate some specific questions that the peer tutor can focus on.

  • The tutor will not do the work for you. Completion of the assignment is your responsibility.

If drop-in tutoring is not right for you, please fill out the form below for an appointment with a one-on-one tutor and we will get in contact with you soon.
