2020 Math and Computer Science Annual Honors Reception

The 2020 Honors Reception for the Math and Computer Science Department was held on April 29, 2020 via Zoom. Students were awarded for a GPA of 3.5 in their Math and Computer Science Courses. In addition, there were outstanding student awards, graudates, scholarship recipients, Pi Mu Epsilon new inductees, ACM officers, MAA officers, UPE officers, PME officers, student presentations and student participation recognition.

On Wednesday, April 22, the AU Ohio Rho chapter of Pi Mu Epsilon, the mathematics honorary, held its 17th induction. This was held virtually via Zoom, ad was conducted by the chapter advisor, Dr. Gordon Swain, and the chapter officers Logan Pottorf, Julia Hines, Emily Schordock and Daria Kochis. Eight new members were inducted: Hannah Balliett, Camryn Bickerstaff, Tawny Hetsler Caudill, Michael Homan, Logan Hurst, Faith Lewis, Lingxi Li and Joseph Smith.
