What to Expect
This major was developed in close consultation with the College of Business & Economics and several professionals in the geosciences industry (environmental consulting, oil, and natural gas) to ensure it covers today’s topics in geology and business.
You’ll take courses in geology, chemistry, math, business, economics, and environmental ethics as well as gain internship or work experiences. We’ve developed or revised several geology courses including Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Economic Geology, Petroleum Geology, and Environmental Geochemistry.
