Scholarship Requirements
We offer a variety of talent-based scholarships that require an audition and interview. Theatre scholarships are available to students who major, minor or participate in theatre, but a limited number of awards are available.
Prospective students must complete the formal Ashland University application process and be accepted to the University before they can be awarded a scholarship. It is highly recommended that students complete the Ashland University Application for Admission prior to a scholarship audition and interview.
For strong scholarship consideration, all scholarship auditions and interviews must be submitted to GetAcceptd.com/Ashland by April 1 prior to the proposed academic year of enrollment.
For more information please contact us at 419.289.5100 or theatre@ashland.edu.
Audition and Interview information for prospective theatre students
An audition determines the student’s experience and potential for success in a theatre-related career. In addition, all prospective students will interview with members of the faculty to assess skills and interests. Interviews also allow students to talk with faculty members in an informal manner and discover what Ashland University and the student have to offer each other.
