Do you like seeing what you can learn from data? Are you passionate about helping organizations use their data to make good decisions? The Business Analytics program at Ashland University might be for you.

Businesses around the world are collecting more and more data, and need people to manage and interpret it. You’ll learn how to do this in the Business Analytics program, along with gaining the skills to communicate these insights for implementation across all levels of business.

What to Expect in the Business Analytics Program

Business analytics combines two essential business tasks: management and analysis of data, and interpreting the data to produce useful insights on organization performance. In the business analytics program, you’ll learn state-of-the-art software tools and techniques. You’ll also learn how to communicate what the data tell you to help managers incorporate those insights into organizational strategy.

Business Analytics Program Benefits

Our small classes and individualized attention will help you to:

  • Understand the role data plays in organizations
  • Clean, store, understand, and analyze data
  • Communicate insights from data, whether speaking, writing, or showing visual representations
  • Develop state-of-the-art software and programming skills, such as SAS, R, SQL, Tableau, Python, and Excel

Additionally, the skills you learn in Business Analytics combine very well with other majors and minors, including Marketing, Management Information Systems, Computers Science, Mathematics, Finance, Business Management, and Sport Management.
