What to Expect in the Athletic Training Program

Ashland University’s Athletic Training program integrates the knowledge and skills outlined by the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE) through didactic and clinical experiences in order to prepare you to be a successful athletic trainer. You will learn to practice with the highest integrity by observing and practicing the Code of Ethics as outlined by the National Athletic Trainers’ Association.

We do more than improve athletic life. If you go to NATA.org you'll learn more about the profession. Also, the whole discussion regarding concussions was begun by the AT Profession.

WE ARE: Individuals working with the physically active: we provide rehabilitation, treatment, and return to play guidelines to the military, professional athletes, high school athletes, and any other individual that needs to be physically active for his/her career or life.

WE HAVE: Alumni working in all aspects of health care.

Ashland University students win the State Quiz Bowl for Athletic Training and advance to the District quiz bowl in Chicago.
Team members: Abby Butler, Tara Stevens, Tyler Sipes
