Accelerated Nursing:
With its focus on clinical laboratory and observation hours, the 15-month accelerated BSN track is designed for students who already have a bachelor's degree in another field. While in the track, students will complete 63 credit hours of nursing courses including more than 1,200 hours of clinical, laboratory and observation introduction. You will experience classroom, laboratory and clinical settings led by faculty with specialty expertise. There is no waitlist for qualified applicants!
Advanced Entry Nursing:
Advanced Entry Nursing is for students who have invested time at another accredited college or university. Are you stuck on a waitlist at another school? Ashland's advanced entry track will get you back on your way to completing your degree. With our direct admission program, and clinical affiliate sites in 13 Ohio counties, you are assured direct placement in clinical coursework with no waitlist!
RN to BSN:
For more than 30 years, Ashland has offered already-practicing RNs the opportunity to complete their BSN. In our web-based format, students progress at their own pace, and within their own schedules, making it ideal for students who also have family and work commitments.
Traditional BSN:
Offering direct admission to qualified students, the traditional BSN program prepares students for all aspects of a lifelong career in nursing. Students enrolled in the BSN program at AU will gain valuable lab experiences beginning their first year and will be thoroughly prepared for the clinical nursing coursework that starts during their junior year through the state-of-the-art simulation center. BSN students have the added benefit of small classes with instructors who have beneficial experience in the field of nursing and value integrity, caring, accountability, respect and excellence in their nursing practice.
