DESCUBRE PUERTO RICO

Come and discover Puerto Rico in an online course!  This course will provide you with the history, current events, films, readings and relevant information to engage your classroom.  By the end of this course you will identify the major people, events and ideas in Puerto Rican history, learn how to identify visual arts in order to obtain information about the culture and have an abundance of resources and ideas to create a lesson or cultural unit for your own classroom.

 This Descubre course integrates a variety of resources that you will be able to share with your students and bring the Puerto Rican culture alive in your own classroom.  Teachers may start a course at any time complete the work at their own pace.  Conducted in Spanish.

Idioma courses receive letter grades

24-48 HOURS AFTER YOUR REGISTRATION YOU WILL RECEIVE AN EMAIL FROM IDIOMA CONTAINING YOUR COURSE ACCESS. 

ADDITIONAL NOTES: 

Within 24 hours of registering for a PD course, you'll be able to access your student account using Self-Service Ashland. There, you'll find printable financial statements and grade reports, plus a link for requesting transcripts, once your grades have posted. Instructions for establishing or resetting your login can be found HERE.
