This course will serve as a study of nonfiction content used by K-12th grade teachers. Research and strategies on nonfiction will be introduced to help students of all ages improve their reading skills concerning the informational text. There will be a focus on SEL skills to help students understand how to work through difficult text when they get stuck and a connection to how that translates to everyday life when things get difficult.
