Using Math Games to Make Learning Fun, Grades K-6
Course Description:
This course is designed to empower math teachers of students in grades K - 6, although teachers in the upper grades may find it useful, as well. The purpose of this course is to provide opportunities for participants to explore using math games as a way to engage learners and promote opportunities for students to deepen their mathematical understanding and reasoning.
Playing math games with students helps to build computational fluency, reinforce/practice skills, encourage mathematical thinking and support a home-school connection.
This course will help you to explore ways to use math games to address those mathematical areas.
