Course Description:

Registration with the ESC of Central Ohio is required prior to registering for Ashland Credit.

Are you a K-12 teacher, Instructional coach, or administrator? Are you interested in exploring the ideas of mastery learning through an equity lens? Join our virtual book study on Grading for Equity: What it is, why it matters, and how it can transform schools and classrooms and earn contact hours or graduate credit! In this engaging and interactive book study, we will investigate equitable grading practices and evaluate which practices can be implemented to promote equity, mastery, and personalized learning. Participants will attend 5 virtual synchronous sessions from March to May and participate in asynchronous activities in between sessions.
