Poverty Simulation

Meeting 1: Oct. 8, 9:00-12:00

Agenda for Poverty Simulation:

9:00-12:00 - Participants will think about poverty’s harsh realities and immerse themselves in the life of generational poverty. You will step into someone’s shoes experiencing hardship and then navigate community resources while facing various challenges.

Test Coordination Information Sessions

Meeting 1: Oct. 4, 9:00-3:00

Meeting 2: Feb. 28, 9:00-3:00

Agenda for TECIP Refresher (Day 2):

8:30-3:30 - Participants have already attended the TECIP Initial Training.

During the refresher, COPES consulting will engage participants in applying the TECIP principles and materials in a variety of scenarios.

School counselors and the district teams will refresh their knowledge to

ensure their districts are best prepared to respond to traumatic events

as they arise.
