Educators’ Week is a gathering of formal and non-formal educators who are pursuing new knowledge and teaching techniques at Glen Helen Outdoor Education Center in Greene County, Ohio. Educators’ Week provides opportunities to gain an understanding of topics related to state academic standards by being immersive in a natural setting and creating a supportive learning environment. Participants attend sessions that explore hands-on best practice strategies for introducing people to the natural world. Attendees will learn from top experts in their field on a wide range of cross curricular topics and explore new methods that will enhance their skills as educators. By the conclusion of this unique, retreat-like conference, participants will come away with a renewed sense of wonder, a feeling of community and kinship and the confidence to share their new knowledge with others.
