Course Description:

Aerospace Engineering – Part II educator training provides teachers with the knowledge, tools, and instructional strategies needed to implement the second half of PLTW's high school Aerospace Engineering course. This phase of training focuses on advanced topics such as orbital mechanics, rocketry, satellite systems, UAV design, and aerospace navigation technologies. Educators will engage in hands-on simulations, model construction, programming activities, and team-based projects that mirror the classroom experience. Emphasis is placed on integrating advanced STEM content, facilitating student inquiry, and supporting capstone-level engineering design experiences.

Ashland University is proud to partner with Project Lead The Way to offer graduate credit for their outstanding professional development experiences. We are excited to support educators who engage with PLTW’s high-quality, hands-on learning opportunities by providing the option to earn Ashland graduate credit upon successful completion.
