AI for Teachers

This course will teach you about the capabilities of AI and how it can be applied to education.  You will learn what AI is and the benefits and limitations of using AI to help lesson plan, assess, differentiate, and aid in student and parent communication. We will provide an overview of six key AI tools and teach you specific ways these tools can help you save time and improve instruction. The course also comes with a printable AI tool reference chart and classroom organizers to help you in planning for its use in your classroom. You will analyze and learn about this topic through videos, articles, studies, and other resources. You will also design a comprehensive implementation plan for the classroom and an original resource that can be used to support implementation.

Model Teaching courses receive letter grades.

HOW TO ACCESS YOUR COURSE MATERIALS: 

Immediately upon completion of your Ashland registration, you will receive a confirmation email with instructions on how to access your course materials, which will include instructions for creating an account in the Model Teaching dashboard, and a code to access your purchased course.

You will be working with Model Teaching, through their Learning Management System, to complete the course, after which, your instructor will record your grade on your AU transcript. We will notify you by email once this is done, with instructions on how to view and order transcripts.
