PLTW Educator Training Capstone Pt 2 (1CR)
Course Description:
PLTW Capstone – Part II Educator Training prepares educators to guide students through the second and most intensive phase of the PLTW capstone experience—developing, testing, refining, and presenting original solutions to real-world problems. Teachers learn how to facilitate the engineering design process or scientific investigation cycle as students build and test prototypes, gather and analyze data, iterate based on feedback, and deliver final presentations. Emphasis is placed on mentoring, assessment, and professional communication, as students transition from inquiry to innovation and public presentation.
Ashland University is proud to partner with Project Lead The Way to offer graduate credit for their outstanding professional development experiences. We are excited to support educators who engage with PLTW’s high-quality, hands-on learning opportunities by providing the option to earn Ashland graduate credit upon successful completion.
To be eligible for graduate credit, participants must complete all required coursework through PLTW and submit a copy of their official completion certificate to ckessler@ashland.edu.
