PLTW: Launch K-5 STEM Curriculum Training (2CR)
Course Description:
PLTW Launch is an engaging, hands-on professional development experience designed for K–5 educators implementing Project Lead The Way’s STEM curriculum. This course equips teachers with the knowledge, tools, and confidence to guide students through inquiry-based, real-world problem-solving activities in science, technology, engineering, and math. Educators will explore interdisciplinary modules integrating literacy and critical thinking while promoting student agency and collaborative learning. Through this training, participants will understand how to create meaningful learning experiences that inspire curiosity and build foundational STEM skills early on.
Ashland University is proud to partner with Project Lead The Way to offer graduate credit for their outstanding professional development experiences. We are excited to support educators who engage with PLTW’s high-quality, hands-on learning opportunities by providing the option to earn Ashland graduate credit upon successful completion.
To be eligible for graduate credit, participants must complete all required coursework through PLTW and submit a copy of their official completion certificate to ckessler@ashland.edu.
