Communications College Credit For Teachers in Ohio

Ashland University offers graduate-level communications courses for teachers interested in pursuing College Credit Plus approval to teach college level courses in their high school classroom. Courses can be taken from the Master's in Corporate and Strategic Communication curriculum to fulfill the CCP for Teachers 18 credit hour requirement. Prospective students may choose to pursue the 18 credit hours as a stand alone option or pursue to a master’s degree in addition to the licensure. Interested applicants should contact the office of graduate admissions to see what track is most appropriate for them. 

Ashland University's College Credit Plus for Teachers program is designed to allow you meet the minimum requirements for post-secondary education as defined by the Ohio Department of Education. Completion of this program does not guarantee that you will be granted permission to teach a course at any university. Each college or university sets their own criteria for the hiring of adjunct professors which may be above the minimum criteria required by the state.

These programs are 7 week long online courses, and cohorts are currently forming.  Please contact the office of Graduate, Online, and Adult Admissions for information about the start date.
