Employment Q&A's
Do I have to be certified in First Aid, CPR and AED to apply?
No, applicants are not required to be certified in these areas. For any applicants hired who are not fully certified, they must attend a Red Cross certification course on campus (lifeguards have different requirements).
Are there other employment opportunities on campus?
Yes, there are numerous opportunities for student employment on campus. They can be found using Handshake through the Career Center for Life Calling.
Do all parts of the application need to be filled out to be considered for an interview?
All required application materials must be submitted in order to considered for employment (resume, cover letter, three references). Specific information that incoming freshman and transfer students do not know yet (ID number, etc.) can be understandably omitted. Contact us for specific questions.
