Ashland University Psychological Counseling Services

COVID-19 Updates:

Ashland University Psychological Counseling Services will continue to adjust its operations based on guidance from the Ohio Department of Health (ODH), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the American Counseling Association (ACA), and other related governing bodies.

On Wednesday, March 11th, 2020, Counseling Services suspended all face-to-face services and has been exclusively providing remote services to students.

In Spring 2021, Counseling Services plans to continue providing remote services. Per regulatory guidelines, all intake sessions will be via video chat. Counseling Services is offering additional face-to-face video conferencing, phone, text chat, and email support services to students once they complete their intake session.

Face-to-face, in-person services will resume when it is safe. Students are encouraged to continue using our remote services.

Please note that in June and July of each year, Counseling Services is on a summer recess and has restricted availability.
