Contacting the Counseling Center

Faculty and staff members may contact the Counseling Center either by stopping in to set up an appointment or by calling on the phone 419.289.5307. It is advised that you talk to the student yourself and express your concern. Tell the student about the services offered at the counseling center and offer to walk them over to the office.

If you do call for a consultation or stop in, please know that we can discuss ways to encourage the student to come into the office, psychological concerns in general and communication avenues, but we cannot say whether a student is being seen by a counselor or not, the content of the conversations/sessions or discuss the treatment plan and progress being made by the student
