Reaching Out

To schedule an appointment, contact Oscar McKnight, Director of Ashland University Psychological Counseling Services. He or one of our professional counselors will follow up with you to schedule an appointment.

After scheduling your first session, you will receive an email containing an informed consent form and an intake form. Sign and return both forms prior to the start of your first session.

Your first session will take place via remote video call. At the scheduled time, you will receive an email link inviting you to join the call. After clicking the link, you will be prompted to enter your name and check in to the virtual waiting room. Your counselor will enter the call shortly afterward and will review the informed consent form with you. After this review, your first session will begin.

If you encounter technical difficulties during an online counseling session, please email your counselor to determine next steps.
