SCHLECHTY CENTER DES 3CR

The Digital Engagement Series three-credit course allows teachers to take advantage of all eight modules. The topics include relationship building, social and emotional learning, equity, student voice, communication, digital tools, and more. Each module contains four hours of asynchronous online work. While working through a module, participants engage with content, teacher examples, resources, and tech-infused activities. Individual and collaborative activities aid teachers in designing lesson components for their students to use this school year and provide teachers opportunities to reflect on their learning in the exit ticket activity. Teachers will also create three pieces of evidence as they work through each module to submit to the professor.  After they have completed all eight courses, teachers will upload their twenty-four pieces of evidence in an online portfolio and write a paragraph reflection for each item. Teachers will culminate their learning with a reflection essay.

ADDITIONAL NOTES: 

Within 24 hours of registering for a PD course, you'll be able to access your student account using Self-Service Ashland. There, you'll find printable financial statements and grade reports, plus a link for requesting transcripts, once your grades have posted. Instructions for establishing or resetting your login can be found HERE.
