Course Description:

This 12.5-hour self-paced (1 credit hour) course equips educators with effective strategies to nancy.c.moretti@gmail.com support children experiencing selective mutism, a severe anxiety disorder characterized by a child's inability to speak in certain social settings. Through an in-depth exploration of the underlying factors of selective mutism, participants will learn to develop a sensitive and inclusive classroom environment.
