Course Description:

Description: This workshop is designed to provide educators with a comprehensive understanding of the five essential components of reading and how to effectively support English Learners (Els) in developing strong reading skills. Participants will delve into the science of reading, exploring evidence-based practices to enhance phonemic awareness, phonics, vocabulary, fluency, and comprehension for Els. Through a combination of theory, practical strategies, and hands-on activities, educators will leave equipped with the tools.
