Taming Technology I - 1 Credit Hour

Ready or Not the new normal in K-12 education has arrived, Ashland University's Professional Learning Services (formerly PDS) wants to provide a way for teachers to gain experience and expertise in using different kinds of online technology to address the needs of student learning styles and content.

This class will provide you with the opportunity to learn new technologies, try them out, and decide if it is the appropriate technology to use for your students and your content. Throughout the class, you will be asked to create activities. These activities should meet the needs of your students in your curriculum. All of the work you complete should focus on your grade band and/or subject area. This is a self-paced online course. You will need to create accounts.  I do not use any solutions that cost money, they are all free. Create a place to keep the website names, your usernames, and passwords. You can register for the course from now until August 20, 2024.
