Step By Step Learning proudly presents "The Brain and Dyslexia," a comprehensive synchronous, two-day course spanning 12.5 hours. Tailored for educators of all backgrounds, this course offers a deep dive into the neuroscience of reading, featuring seminal research from Ehri (1995), Gough & Tunmer (1986), NICHD (2000), Scarborough (2001), and Seidenberg & McClelland (1989). Participants will gain valuable insights into reading disabilities, particularly dyslexia, equipping them with the knowledge to better support their students' needs. This course is worth one college credit for an additional fee paid directly to Ashland University. Participants who pass the final assessment will be awarded a micro-credential that they can add to their resumes and signatures.
