Course Description:

  • Importance and impact of culturing kindness and gratitude in the school environment.
  • Read, discuss, and synthesize the book, A Passion for Kindness (2019).
  • Meaningful strategies to implement a compassionate classroom across grade levels and subject areas.
  • Resources to reinforce the journey of kindness and gratitude students encounter throughout their academic and social/emotional experiences.

HOW TO ACCESS YOUR COURSE MATERIALS: 

IN ADDITIONAL TO YOUR AU REGISTRATION AND TUITION:

You will need to register with Effective Educational Seminars, Ltd. You will also be asked to pay a Seminar Fee of $140.00 (book, materials, and postage included). 

You'll work with EES, using their LMS, to complete the course, at which time, your instructor will post your final grade here to your AU transcript. You'll receive an email notification from Ashland PDS when the grade posts, with instructions on how to view and order transcripts.
