Course Description:

Thoughtful, responsive planning is essential to students’ success. This course will focus on foundational planning elements. We’ll begin with BIG ideas focused on content, coupled with data we collect about students’ interests’, passions, inquiries, and needs. Then, we will use all of that intel to create responsive units/lessons that meet the needs of ALL students. In this course, you’ll create well-grounded, flexible plans using about tools, templates and ideas that you can transfer to future planning experiences. Ready to shake up things up and think about the planning process in new, dynamic, responsive ways? Join in and consider inviting colleagues, curriculum leaders, and administrators to learn to plan units of study, learning progressions or individual lessons that are transferrable across settings. This course is applicable to K-12 educators and all content areas.
