Empowering Underrepresented Gifted Students by Deb Douglas and Joy Lawson Davis was designed to spark reflective conversations specific to individual school districts, their student demographics, and their progress in the equity journey within gifted programming. Participants will be equipped to build student self-advocacy skills and to start critical conversations regarding gifted identification and service policies. Activities include a mix of reflective questions, report card data dive, and creation of an action plan.
