Classroom Management
Course Description:
This course focuses on classroom management and includes 4 lessons: Building Community, Cooperative Learning, Principles of Restorative Practice and Restorative Practice Activities in the Classroom. The first two lessons focus on how things are done in the classroom including the procedures, routines, and structures. The final two lessons focus on proactively preventing problems like bullying and violence An increasing body of research indicates that restorative approaches are effective in transforming student behavior and building healthy school communities.
HOW TO ACCESS YOUR COURSE MATERIALS:
This course requires an additional registration and course fee of $300 with the content provider #T.E.A.C.H. If you have not yet registered with them, please contact them by clicking this link. Once you have completed both registrations, #T.E.A.C.H. will provide you with your course materials.
You will be working with #T.E.A.C.H., through their Learning Management System, to complete the course, after which, your instructor will record your grade on your AU transcript. We will notify you by email once this is done, with instructions on how to view and order transcripts.
