BASA Professional Development (3CR)
Course Description:
BASA offers a suite of professional learning activities to provide school administrators well-designed professional learning experiences that meet established requirements for graduate credit. The classes enable administrators to meet specific professional development goals as well as provide graduate credit to fulfill licensure renewal requirements. To be included, each class was required to directly support work to implement priorities including (but not limited to) Achievement, Common
Core State Standards, Communications, Data Analysis, Differentiated Instruction, Finance, Leadership, Principal and Teacher Evaluation, Special Education, 21st Century Learning, School Climate, and Technology. Participants will have the opportunity to sign up for various combinations of workshops to build on their skills and practice. They will self-select from a multitude of workshops and must attend 4 half-days or 2 full days to receive one semester hour of credit.
