Course Description:

PLTW CIM – Part II Educator Training provides high school teachers with the advanced knowledge and instructional skills needed to teach the second half of the Computer Integrated Manufacturing course. This training focuses on automation system integration, CNC machining processes, quality control, manufacturing efficiency, and capstone-level projects. Educators will deepen their understanding of how CAD, robotics, sensors, and control systems work together in real-world manufacturing environments. Participants will complete simulations, program integrated systems, and develop strategies for supporting student-led manufacturing projects, ensuring they are ready to guide learners through complex, careerconnected challenges.
