Course Description:
This course offers an in-depth study of the book entitled A Sense of Place: School Libraries at the Heart of Learning, Connection, and Belonging (Byrd Little). The purpose of the course is to actively engage learners in discussions to enhance understanding and explore ways in which the book’s content may be incorporated in their respective school libraries. The course culminates in a learner-chosen and created project based on a topic addressed in the class that can be implemented immediately. Learners will be given the opportunity to share their project for feedback in a voluntary Project Round Table in early August.
