An Educator's True North

Educators will practice using a variety of techniques for mindful reflection, nurturing positive, supportive professional relationships, and developing collective efficacy with colleagues. Educators cannot thrive in isolation, or without a strong sense of personal purpose. Participants will engage in collaborative reading, discussions, and activities that are designed to promote meaningful interaction and genuine connection. This workshop’s focus is on helping educators remember the importance of staying centered and providing practical tools to foster community within teams. The essential take-away from this session is that when the adults thrive and work together in harmony, the students can mirror that success and reach their greatest potential.
