Project Based Learning (PBL) & AI Part 2
Course Description:
Building on the foundation established in Course 1 - a responsible approach to AI partnership, a clear view of the PBL journey, and a driving question worth investigating - this second course in the PBL and AI series is where the project begins to move. Across three modules, educators examine how a compelling driving question becomes a living inquiry: one that connects learners to real people, real places, and real challenges beyond the classroom. Throughout, they build their AI expertise by using AI to design inquiry pathways, stress-test real-world connections, and develop structures that support learner agency without displacing the facilitator decisions that make agency meaningful. Participants will develop practical strategies for deepening inquiry, building authentic community connections, and designing experiences that invite learners to shape the direction, depth, and decisions of the work itself. By the end of this course, educators will have an AI-enhanced inquiry framework that moves learners from participants in a designed project to co-investigators of a question that genuinely matters.
