Project Based Learning (PBL) & AI Part 3
Course Description:
This third and final course in the PBL and AI series brings together everything educators have built across the series - the foundational mindsets, the inquiry structures, the real-world connections—and asks how to make that learning visible and how to sustain the practice. The closing stages of a PBL experience are where some of the most important learning happens, when the conditions are right: reflection deepens understanding, well-designed feedback changes what learners do next, and a showcase that asks learners to communicate their thinking to a real audience asks something of them that an assignment submission could not. Across three modules, facilitators examine how to design meaningful reflection and revision cycles, support learners in communicating their thinking with clarity and purpose for authentic audiences, and develop the professional habits that keep their PBL practice grounded and adaptable in a changing AI landscape. Throughout, they partner with AI as a planning and feedback tool - using it to support the cycles of reflection and revision that turn a project into genuine learning, without displacing the relational and professional judgment that the work requires. By the end of this course—and this series—educators will have a complete AI-enhanced PBL practice that integrates inquiry design, learner agency, and intentional, human-centered uses of AI from the first question asked to the final showcase delivered.
