Restorative Classroom Management & AI

Course Description:

Classroom management is grounded in relationships, trust, and the daily interactions that shape a learner’s sense of belonging. This course explores how educators can design and sustain relationship-centered classroom environments that support both social-emotional and academic growth. Across eight modules, educators examine restorative practices, learner support programs, and communication strategies that strengthen learner-teacher connections. The course introduces ways to thoughtfully incorporate AI as a thinking partner to support reflection, planning, and responsiveness, without replacing professional judgment or human connection. Participants will develop practical approaches to building inclusive classroom cultures, modeling accountability, and responding to learner needs with clarity and care. By the end of the course, educators will have a structured plan for creating a supportive classroom environment that integrates restorative practices with intentional, human-centered uses of AI.

HOW TO ACCESS YOUR COURSE MATERIALS

Within 1-2 business days of your Ashland registration, you will receive an email from your course content provider, Ed3, containing instructions on how to access your course materials. If you do not see an email within 48 hrs, please check your junk or spam folders.
You will be working with Ed3, through their Learning Management System, to complete the course, after which, you will receive your completion certificate via email, and AU will record this on your transcript.  We will notify you by email once this is done, with instructions on how to view and order transcripts.
