Restorative Classroom Management & AI Part 1
Course Description:
This course is the first in a three-part series on restorative classrooms and AI, and establishes the foundational knowledge, habits, and relational practices educators need to build classrooms where learners feel safe, known, and connected - while building their understanding of how AI can thoughtfully support that work. Across three modules, educators examine how belonging is shaped through shared agreements, inclusive routines, and consistent relational practices, all while developing the critical awareness needed to use AI as a thinking and reflection partner responsibly, ethically, and in alignment with school and district policies. Participants will develop practical approaches to understanding learner behavior, strengthening educator-learner connections, and establishing the trust that makes all other classroom management work possible. By the end of this course, educators will have the mindsets, guardrails, and relational tools to engage with AI as a meaningful partner in their professional practice.
