Restorative Classroom Management & AI Part 2

Topic: Technology
Instructor: Armine Movsisyan
Method: Online (OWRK)
Sponsor: Ed3
Center Offered: ONLINE PROF DEV

Course Description:

Building on the relational foundation established in Course 1, this second course moves into the design work: the daily practices that make a restorative classroom culture visible and sustainable. Across three modules, educators examine how classroom design, restorative practices, and communication strategies work together to strengthen community and support positive behavior. Throughout, they build their AI expertise by using AI to simulate scenarios, test logical outcomes, and develop practical language strategies for the classroom. Participants will develop concrete strategies for responding to conflict restoratively, designing learning spaces that promote learner agency, and using language that de-escalates, affirms, and repairs. By the end of this course, educators will have an AI-enhanced practical toolkit for designing and sustaining a restorative classroom environment grounded in relationship and intentional practice.
