Course Description:

Civil Engineering and Architecture – Part I Educator Training prepares high school educators to teach the first half of the PLTW CEA course, which introduces students to the design and development of residential and commercial building projects. Teachers explore the fundamentals of architectural design, structural engineering, site planning, and sustainable practices, while developing skills in Autodesk® Revit® and other design tools. Through handson activities and collaborative simulations, educators learn how to guide students through design challenges that reflect real-world applications in the built environment.
